The old historic city with the ‘Oudegracht’ and the ‘Nieuwegracht’ with the characteristic wharfs and terraces makes Utrecht to a cosy and intimate city. In the summer months you can enjoy for a drink and food at the city beachbar located to the Amsterdam-Rijn Canal and the Merwede Canal.
You can discover these beautiful waterways by canoe, there is no busy traffic by other boats. You also can go by motorboat, in 40 minutes to city-centre and drive through the old historic warf-cellars.
You can also discover the neighborhood and further outside Utrecht by pushbike, there is no busy traffic and there are many -only pushbike allowed- lanes.
